11.. September 11, 01.

So, I was 9 years old by 2011. As a lil kid, I surely had a lot going on my life. But nowadays,  the only thing I can remember from that year is the accident with the World Trade Center towers.
I was used to watch cartoons in the mornings, but on September 11th, all the cartoons went off and the news program started broadcasting what seemed to be a mix of horror and action movie, happening at real time.
Not so young enough to realize that something terrible was going on, I can barely remember me calling my mom, who was in the kitchen.
She came to the tv room and got really surprised with what she saw.
Seeing all those firemen and helper people trying to do their best to save their own lives and other people's lives... all those desperate people trying to believe they were not dreaming... That was remarkably impressive.
I can also remember a little bit how some reporters reacted when the second plane chocked into the tower. That was horrible.
Brazil could only talk about the tragedy in the USA for all over the day, week and month. There was always something new to say about the September 11th.
Today, it's been 11 years that it happened. It's still weird to think that I am living now in the country attacked by those terrorists. I've been to the place where the Twin Towers used to be.
It's hard to believe how far mankind could go and made all a nation, different countries, kids and old people, paralyze with that shocking evil event...
