Vacations summary

After four months of working/living in the USA,  it happened to be my vacations. What should be nine days of fun with relatives came to be thirteen days of meeting new people and places and growing on knowledge. 

The first step was leaving home and flying to meet the first cousins in Atlanta. Three days around the city, sightseing and volleybal were in the "to do list".

After that, flying to Tampa would be the next step, to meet more relatives, have more fun and spend a great time with part of my family. For "meet more relatives" I mean seeing some again after a long time and really getting to know some that I knew were my family, but had never met before. Can you imagine how excited I was? Theme parks, beach, more volleyball and family environment. Six days of more fun. 

But, as it's said, "all good things come to an end", so it was time to say good bye to some of them. So I flew back to Atlanta to spend the last days with the first ones. Do you remember about my "Journalism passion"? Well, to make it bigger, I got to visit and take an inside tour at the world headquarter of Cable News Network, a.k.a CNN. After being to Hope Channel, in Silver Spring, I could understand a lot more of how "TV is made". But CNN couldn't be compared to anything else. It's impressive how great machines and minds can make what you watch every day. 

We also took a tour in the World of Coca-Cola, a place with lots of history and stories of one of the most world-known brands. That's an awesome place for collectors and lovers of Coca-Cola!

Tomorrow I'm going back home. I'm really happy I'll get to see my host family again, to whom I am so thankful for every single thing!
